For Sale Suggestions

Ed, I am in the same boat with the Python. My guess is several factors are contributing to no one being interested:
Widebodies are much more popular.
There are lots of AFC/ARF out there at very good prices.
Our piece of the hobby trade is not as popular as others, especially in our neck of the woods.

Well, my thoughts are that have a plane I can practice Masters/FAI with because I won't give it away.

Hey everyone, am looking for opinions and suggestions.

Have been unable to sell a very decent pattern plane, my Piorun Oly. Have been asking $650 RTF minus engine and rcvr.

My question is why it isn't selling and should I dismantle it to sell the parts seperately.

Could be my paint scheme doesn't suit some, could be it is an older "pencil" design, could be it has retracts, could be it is the end of the season and demand is very low. Any thoughts??

If I desmantle to sell parts seperately, may end up giving the plane away(which we all know $650 is already giving it away) but for a new guy to refit it will be quite expensive, actually more than the total now so would it actually be doing anyone a favor??

Or should I just hold on to it till next spring and try again, hoping the demand is a little higher. Sadly the interest in my local is very very low, except for the 3 pattern guys.

Thanx in advance and am really interested in anyone's thoughts.

  ed
