Hi Ed, I really like reading your comparisons on pattern vs IMAC, I had in the 80's thought about IMAC but that was when they was 1/4 scale a much different time, I even build a Laser 200 for scatch using a design that had 1/2 foam ribs and made my own wing sockets from fiberglass.  One of the main things that really drew me to pattern was the let's say the experimental look of the pattern designs, and the fact of doing artistic colors schemes, not trying copy something. Then there is the flying which really took my breath away how could these guys fly so smooth and graceful. I still think that the pattern plane is by far the best flying aerobatic planes in the world, including all full scale down to models.
