Jeff,

I prefer the Depron models, they are a little stiffer, less flex when doing extreme maneuvers.  The EPP planes have a little more flex, which helps in an inadvertent landing, but move a little more in hard flying.

It's all a personal preference, like Dave said.

  Thanks for all the links. I had the tower hobbies flatout made from some type of skinned foam (DEPRON?). Some of the posted links seem to have airplanes made with  foam where you can see the cells on the surface(ie;:  no hard skin).  Is one better than the other?
