Hi Nat,
I would think that between dihedral and wing sweep, you could get there.
FF models are generally stable in the D/T, but I don't expect a Patternn ship to ever be.
Besides, imagine the failsafe D/T triggering while inverted.

Idon't know what the requirements would be for a stable
   'Elevator'.( For the parachute a low cg ). Probably not possible with
