The electrics are catching on here to. You can fly the electrics
indoors as you suggest, and outside if it isn't windy. IO have seen
several electric planes at the heli field; it's a gas!! Heh Heh.

Thanks to Craig Buckles, I've discovered the joy of hovering my shock
flyer in the family room. Granted..the wife's not pleased.and 30% of
the time there's a minor "mishap".but the kids are having a great time
launching and catching, and the tight quarters keep you very..focused.
Given the 18" of snow, the 19deg air, and reasonable wind.it's a fun
alternative.

No flying around here.. Blowing like stink.. over 35 gusts and snowing..
Hard to see the ILS for landing.

It's working in Alabama.
It's a beautiful weather day here in the Huntsville/Decatur area and I'm
certain many are at the flying field. I'm at home today, but I am hover
flying a Raptor 50 in my back yard. I can't do too much with a heli in
my back yard except fly it back and forth, but the one way trip to the
flying field is 45 minutes and I just don't want to drive that far. I'm
getting lazy I guess. Ah, what the heck I'm having fun and that's all
that matters.
