When you insulate the carb does that reduce the barrel variance so that the idle will remain solid when the engine warms up?

  Paradoxical? After 25 years i've mastered the two stroke; bearings, pistons and liners that last well over 1000 flights, insulated carb that provides consistent idle from T/O to landing,very long life on $2.50 glow plugs AND i'm going electric ?
