Contest Listings

All:
In a conversation I had with Steve Wall today, he informs me that BARKS 
is planning a Fall Contest to take place October 22nd and 23rd.
This will be the weekend before Daylight Savings time reverts back to 
Standard time, thus giving us another hour of daylight for flying time.
Randy Hatfield is having his contest on Sept. 24th and 25th.
In a conversation I had yesterday evening with Bill Mitchell, he has 
stated he is going to put together a Winston contest on the weekend of 
the 10th and 11th of September.
Further, Robert Gainey is, (and this is VERY tentative) working on a 
contest at Latta (SC) the date of which hasn't been yet announced.  As I 
say, it is very tentative; all I really have is a rumor.  I'm sure that 
Robert will give us the date when it is firmed up.  The field at Latta 
is great, the food last time was unsurpassed, and, for the very 
discriminating, the field has an actual, real live FLUSHING TOILET!  
That alone is worth the trip!  We'll make sure that everybody is in the 
loop when more information is forthcoming.  (About the Contest, not 
about the toilet!  It's already well known!<G>)
