Cullman Contest

The ramp runs the other direction when the wind is out of the south. If
you're flying off the north station, you just put the plane on the end
of the runway and give a little more power to get off quicker. The roll
is just to the pilot's left about 5 feet, so it's not really a big
adjustment. You'll want to land a little long, though. Fly over the
hump and land a little to the right. Still not far enough off center
for a significant down grade if we were being judged.

Ahh retracts....ancient chinese secret =)

I'm not really worried about the runway, it's not that bad. The field is

great, the contest is great, and I fly off worse regularly as far as
surface. I just remember that one spot that if you hit it just right on
take
off was like a carrier launch. But with not being picked to death on
landing, who cares. Get her up, get her down.
