OS140RX Bearings

I've heard of people using the Boca SS bearings and the OS EFI bearings as replacements for the OS 1.40RX. Are these the same product (i.e. made by the same manufacture)? If not, is there any consensus as which one is best?

Thanks,

Good news Frank... That's a lot of flying on one bearing. Well worth the extra cost of the SS bearing and time of replacement.

Just last weekend, I finally had to replace the Boca SS bearings that I put into my OS 1.40 RX before the engine was ever run. I noticed the bearing roughness after flight number 431. Based on advice from so many Pattern pilots, I never even tried the stock bearings.

The fuel was 15% Magnum and the engine was run dry after every session. I used Mobil 1 as an after run oil each time. The rear bearing had both seals removed and the front bearing had the rear seal removed but kept the front seal of course. The front bearing seal was metal, not rubber so I don't know if Mobil 1 would affect rubber.
