 Ken
The first of this year I also went for a Dr's visit for updating prescription glasses. I got the exam and they ordered the lenses. They did not work because the exam did not reflect the way I need to see at a distance. The Dr couldn't understand that his machine was wrong. I brought the Dr to his front window and told him I wanted the see the small limbs on the tree about 150yds away. He then put his compensating lenses in front of my eyes until I picked out the best ones that I could see the distance with.Actually one eye is nearsighted and the other is farsighted. He was hesitant to and still didn't understand why his diagnosis was not correct. They made the lenses to this order and I can see the writing on the plane at 150 meters now. I then got a prescription for this measurement for my NYC sun glasses. I'm in business now and do not know what my eyes measure and don't care. I can see at the distance.>
