I had the first surgery on a Thursday and got on an airplane to fly to
the TOC on the next Tuesday. I had to wear an eye protector when I
slept for the first week after surgery. My surgery was standard
cataract surgery, in which the lens was removed with a scalpel and
replaced with plastic. Not lasic surgery.
