I nominate Bob Pastorello and Ron Lockhart to write some articles! Maybe we can get your salary doubled from what you now receive doing work on behalf of NSRCA.
Many years ago they wrote articles for my web site when I first designed it. The articles are still relevant today! They were major contributors in other areas too! Check it out at http://www.rcpattern.com/faqB.htm
My Hats Off to Them!

Seems like this would be a great ending for a series of articles in the K-Factor.
How's this for a starting outline?
Why should you fly Pattern
Getting started in Pattern
First planes/equipment
Basic practice concepts
First Contest
Flying Sportsman
Second Planes/equipment
Practice regimens
Transition to Intermediate
Flying Intermediate
Advanced Planes/equipment
Transition to Advanced
Pilots tricks/how to fool the judges
Flying Advanced
Destination Planes/equipment
Preparations for Masters
Transition to Masters
Flying Masters
So you want to fly FAI
FAI planes/equipment
Flying FAI
What it takes to make The Team
Or something like that.
I think our High Paid Officers ought to get something like this set up, writers comitted, schedule set up, and get things rolling for next year.
Jerry
