Bob, very interesting reading.  This reminds me of our time in Lubbock.
I believe that lower classes could really benefit from something like
this if they are struggling with understanding how the sequence should
flow.  With all the discussion about the upcoming new sequences and
cross box maneuvers, planning your flight becomes even more important to
presenting a smooth schedule.
 
In any class, the pilot has to be able to recognize how the sequence
should work as a unit, certain maneuvers are designed to "set" up for a
maneuver 3 or 4 down the line. This also comes into play  when choosing
your options in those maneuvers designed to give the pilot a chance to
"catch up" and "fix" their lines.
 
I honestly find myself so focused on flying the maneuver that I forget
to plan ahead and always seem rushed into the next maneuver.
 
Just some early morning thoughts.
