Electric Weight: with or without batteries at US Nationals

Adam,

So roughly 2.5 lbs. Any additional 'stuff' added that goes in the airplane?
On the FMA/Kokam units, they have cell discharge protection devices that
weigh like 3.5 oz/ set. I'm sure for production they'll get the wt down.
Ea. pair weighs about 2 lbs,1 oz. plus the DPMs. I get a pattern plus a
couple passes and it's time to land. I've got about 20 cycles on three sets
now with no noticable losses. Orland has tried the 4000s and is getting
about 9.5 minutes which is nicely adequate but weigh another .5 lb. I just
don't think there's another half pound to wring out of my existing ships!
If you or someone would weigh them--I'd sure like to know if reality is the
same as advertised--pro OR con.

Richard
