Might depend on the speed of the snap... The Impact screeches on fairly rapid snaps(finally got it in the air last night--I think I'm going to like it).

  The Abbra is composite but I noticed that ailerons are sealed.  The plane is composite also.  I haven't hear any noise during snaps.  Probably is possible to seal the ailerons with light balsa.
