Coke Bottle Fuel Tank

Wayne
I was one of the coke bottle tankers and got a lot of remarks about it.
I also noticed the tank shrinking and used my spare. I did not run out of fuel but I only had maybe an oz left after one of the flights. When I got home I pulled the tank and held it next to a bottle out of the same 6 pack when I bought them. Both my tanks have shrunk by at least 4 oz volume and they are 1/2 inch shorter and smaller in diameter, than they were when I started. The bottles said 20 fluid oz on the label.
So guys beware of the plastic coke bottles. Don't know if it is heat or nitro or methanol, but something is shrinking the tanks.
I am on the lookout for water bottles or some other plastic bottle that will hold up to our harsh elements.
Ideas are welcome.
