NOT Nats

Hi Gang,
I'm here, too. I'm not surprised at the confusion regarding takeoffs and landings: it's fairly certain that 7 or 8 independant groups of local judging seminars came up with 2 or 3 interpretations of the rules that will yield unnecessary zeros when people get toigether. I am still dismayed at both the existence of the 0/10 scoring in AMA, and even more dismayed with some of the exact wording. Here in NSRCA D1 we had a bit of confusion at the first contest that drew from both groups. It got fixed quickly. To be fair, I do think that 0/10 on TO/Landing did take just a fraction of a minute out of each competition flight. It adds up.
I just got a hold of an Icepoint, and will be evaluating it shortly. The kit looks great, and the numbers look right. I'll be very surprised if it is anything other than a fine flyer.
Regards,
Dean

Okay - who else, besides me, didn't make the trip? Are there any of us that can discuss some questions?
