I'm often surprised at what comes out of this list, thus the off-beat
question. Is there a favorite large-brim hat in use to block out the sun?
I've been using a beach hat at times (brim slopes down around the circle,
not a flat brim). I need a new one.

I don't know if anyone remembers the wide brim straw hats which were
available at the 1999 F3A World Championships, but I have a few of them
which were left over. Some have the 1999 F3A WC logo around the crown. I'd
be glad to bring them to the Nats and give them to those who make a $5
contribution to the 2005 U.S. team.
