Judging

Regarding the length of time the model may remain inverted in the "Two Half Rolls Opposite" here's the definition of the maneuver:

Model rolls 180 degrees to level, inverted flight, pauses, then rolls 180 degrees in the opposite direction to recover in level flight. Center of maneuver is middle of inverted hesitation. Downgrades:
   1. Over or under rotation of rolls, one point per 15 degree rule.
   2. Changes in heading or altitude
   3. Roll rate not constant.
   4. Model does not hesitate at inverted.

There is no mention of the length of time the model may remain inverted. The only requirement is for the inverted hesitation to be centered. Straight Inverted Flight requires a minimum of 4 seconds inverted in it's definition. A Slow Roll should take a minimum of 3 second in it's definition. Someone has probably merged one or the other of these definitions and arrived at an erroneous conclusion.

  Don,
I had heard some rationale that if the line was 3 seconds or more then it is considered the manuver of straight inverted flight and would be downgraded severely. Any comment?

That's fine. The length of the line is not defined.

How long can the line be to not be downgraded? I've been presenting the maneuver in three parts 2 second entry, 2 second line, and 2 second second half roll. Center being in the middle of the line, is that incorrect?
