Desafio 2000 S

Dan - I'm glad yours is working; I had one of the early ones that had the wing improperly located, then the CG was wrong, then the stab position, then the "size" of the stab....you get the picture.

In all honesty, I bought it because I thought it would be just great. Sorta like the current Quique Yak 54 is reported to be.

I wish I'd hung in there a bit, but with all the jacking around with it, I took the coward's way out. I'm betting that several things got "fixed" before you got yours, and sure wish you well with it!!!

Sorry to hear that. It is pitch sensative dialed down the throw added a little expo everthings ok. Not sure what your problem was with ground clearance but I hav eth bolly desafio gear and use a 17-10 still on the original prop no nicks yet. Have not touhed the cg, aileron throw or rudder throw since the original flight seems ok to me but I am a beginner we will see how I do in the new season.

Actually, because of the gear location (too far aft) and too short, the 16.5 x 12 two blade Bolly bit it on the FIRST TAXI...after the air cleared from the blue haze of my expletives, I put on a shorter APC flavor airscrew, and it staggerred into the air, pitching and porpoising all the way. That was how I found out it had WAY too much elevator, and not NEARLY enough anything else.
So it flew...and hands off, it was WONDERFUL. But make a rudder, elevator, or aileron correction, and it was all over the place.
I remember an eye-witness asking me "Have you got it?"

Not too long before it went south.

If it were that bad how did it get off the ground.

                  The 2000 S was about minus 4....

              'Course, just my biased opinion.
Does that mean you gave the judges points to watch you fly it ?
