LOL!! I like it in a twisted sort of way.

I said my piece on RCU (albeit a tad forcefully, but what else would you
expect). The only things I would mention differently would be to include both
the Panacea and the Symphony in the "that's more like it!" category. Granted I
have no idea how either one flies, but they look right....or very very close.
And the price is not stupid. Also the Mantis looks acceptable, except the
one piece wing is something I don't personally care for. Not that it's a badt
hing, it has it's advantages, but I prefer a 2 piece wing for myself. From
what I've seen, the quality is there.

If you read that thread, you'll see very clearly what the problem is.
Overpriced, lousy and non existant support, and they won't admit it when there's a
problem. How else do you get something fixed if you're not allowed to say
that a problem exists in the fist place? But certain individuals will be fast to
tell you if you don't fly one, you aren't good enough. That one alone makes
me choke. And it riled up my temper, and makes me SO much more determined to
be successful with a plane that is NOT made by PL or ZN.

Guys, fly what ya want. If you want an $8000 plane, fly it. If you want a
pile of sticks, carve it and FLY IT. But don't tell someone who's making do
with something different he's flying a "roach", or that he CAN'T make it a
certain weight. Never ever tell a living breathing determined human being that he
can't do something, because he WILL do it if he has half a pair.

Personally I do have something different in the shop, and I hope it will
serve me well. But the main problems I have with the european kits is the
ridiculous price tag, the lack of support, and then the utter REFUSAL to take
responsibility for thier own screw ups in MANY MANY cases. Good luck to you who
need parts, let us know how it turns out.

Heh...."Concubine".....somehow I'm thinking about farm equipment now =/

What a great name for a pattern plane. . . .. Mike Hester, are you still
looking for a name for your new design??
I can see it now: “Hey Keith, are you going to bring your CONCUBINE to the
contest this weekend??”. . .. . (hehehehe)
