4-40 or 6-32 control arms?

When Midwest released their 1/4 scale series of
aerobacic planes (Extra, Giles, etc.), they used 4-40
screws for control horns. The screws were known to
fail so they switched to 6-32. I have been using 6-32
screws on my pattern and 120 sized scale planes
without a failure yet, I would not want to risk a
plane to save a fraction of an ounce.
