Dean:
Proposals to the FAI have to go to Chris Lakin as our USA rep to the FAI. AMA President Dave Brown is also in the loop here.
I have long wanted NSRCA to include FAI proposals in surveys so we can give these guys something to take to an FAI meeting. It seems we never submit much to them anymore. When Ron Chidgey was doing it, he didn't ask for input from NSRCA at all. What was put to FAI was mostly his own personal ideas. We need to pursue a system to give Chris some rules proposals.

Hi Don,
Are we talking AMA here, or are we looking to submit this to FAI, as well.
If we can keep things, like the definition of a model, in step then we should.
Let me put that better ...
For entry-level, and for administrating contests, we should do what works best here in the U.S.
If we have an idea that we think makes the whole Pattern World a better place then we should push it through the FAI.
Has NSRCA, as probably the single largest group of precision aerobatic flyers, ever submitted a proposal to the technical sub-committee with our name on it?
Regards,
Dean P.

Ok everyone, here's your chance. What would you like to see changed in the regulations for precision aerobatics? Up the weight limit, change the box, score takeoff and landings, etc?
Email me offline at donramsey at cox-internet.com with your ideas.
