Also, plugging in the battery on your first electric on the pool table in 
the basement and playing with the sticks to figure out why the motor doesn't 
turn on. First indoor crash I've ever had. Spinner left a mark on the wall.

I remember that!!  I wondered who the crazy guy was.

To be honest, I might have done the same thing.  It was pattern war!!  Gotta
get it right you know and the flight line is the last place you want to be
to find out not all is well.

I seem to recall running up a YS61 Long Stroke in the Embassy Suites hotel
room at 3am during the 95 Nats in Lawrenceville...(we'd just replaced a
piston and sleeve).  If you think they're loud outside...You have no
idea....NO idea.  Desperate times call for desperate measures!!

I know a guy that thought that he could fly a 40 size nitro helicopter in
his 700 square foot basement!  Smoke was the least of his worries!!
