Chuck,
Don't take off too much because the tube will loosen after flying a bit.
The vibration from the engine will cause the tube and socket to wear.

After much digging, I found an old header ext and used the sticky sand
paper.. worked well...i will sand more later but much easier already..

Find a dowel that's smaller than the wing tube, wrap some sticky-back
sandpaper around it, and sand the socket.
