Hello all,

Ed Hartley, Michael Laggis and myself have been taking care of the
behind the scenes work to migrate our mailing list to new listserve
software. We are getting ready to throw the switch and there are a few
changes you will notice that I wanted to tell you about.

First and foremost, no action is required on your part to get on the new
list - we will be doing a bulk import of all the mailing list
subscribers.

Secondly, for a time you can even continue sending list e-mail to the
old list address and it will be forwarded to the new list automatically.
Although eventually we would appreciate it if folks would use
nsrca-discussion at lists.nsrca.org (the new address) instead.

Thirdly, the subject line of messages coming off the new
list will have [NSRCA-discussion] prepended to help the list mail stand
out in your inbox and be easy to filter for those who choose to.

Finally, you will now be able to manage your subscription options
via a web page at:

http://lists.nsrca.org/mailman/options/nsrca-discussion

The web page lets you control all kinds of aspects of your list
subscription yourself. When we bulk subscribe you, the new list server
will send each one of you an individual e-mail welcoming you to the new
list and assigning you a random password to use with the above web page.
Once you log into the page you can also exchange your randomly generated
password for one you can remember.

If you have any questions or problems, don't hesitate to say something!
