That was 698 not 693...sorry the 693 is a older version...Yet. I looked over at the boxes on the shelf and saw the 693....The current version of that same pipe is the 698.

The 699 pipe will work fine on a 140FZ-Sport. I have been running it for a full year now on the 160DZ and it is an excellent muffler. I would suggest the 693 as it makes the connection to the header easier than the 699. Now that being said I am using the 699 with the NMP (Central Hobbies) header. Performance and Sound is about the same between the 693 and 699.

Central Hobbies carries both pipes. The 699 uses a unique connection to the header. The way I have it setup it will be pretty short to reach your exhaust exit on the Eclipse ( I think) But there are other mods that can be done to use the Some teflon tubing and so on to reach as far as you like. What I have works well but is not a 100% plug and play setup. The 693 with the NMP header a little teflon tubing is much more plug and play. I ran the 693 on 140-160's for about 3 years and had great success with them.

If you want send me a private email and I can help you get either pipe to work well for you.

Does anybody have any experience with a Hatori # 699 muffler used with a YS 140 S? I need a long muffler to fit inside the tunnel of an Eclipse so I can get to both ends to mount it.

    Thanks for any input.
