Questions About Props

Well, the way I do it is wait for someone else to try it. Choices are pretty limited on 3 and 4 blade props though so your choices are narrowed.
The pusher question....I'd guess there is some difficulty getting an engine to run backwards that makes the pusher prop the more economical choice. As to electric motors it makes sense to me that you just reverse the motor direction.

I'm sure that this has been covered before but how does one go about
figuring out which 3 bladed prop size to use in place of a 2 blade.
I'm assuming the the diameter would be smaller but by how much and I'm
guessing pitch affects the size as well.
Also, this is somewhat related but not an aerobatic question per say.
If an aircraft has a pusher prop configuration and is powered with an
electric motor isn't it possible to use a regular prop and just mount
it in the same orientation as it would be used in a tractor
configuration but just reverse the direction of the engine. Isn't it
also possible to reverse the direction of a gas engine as well. If
this is the case why do they sell "pusher props", is this so that you
don't have to reverse the direction of the engine. Thanks for any help
with this.
