9Z lithium BatteryTom,
The CR2032 comes in a couple of different versions. You'll need the one that has solder legs attached since it's soldered directly to the board. You'll also need to know that you'll have your radio just about completely gutted to get to it. There's a board immediately in front of the LCD screen that's actually folded in half and connected together by a ribbon connector. That's where the battery is located. Hope this helps. BTW, I'm not a radio technician, just ignorantly fearless....

Hi Tom..
I just had some work done to my ZAP last month..
The lithium battery was one of the things replaced.
It is a CR2032.
This info is right off the repair invoice.

Subject: 9Z lithium Battery
Hi all,
Anyone know the number for the Lithium (memory) battery inside the 9Z Tx. I'd like to order one before I rip it apart to replace.
Thanks for any help.
Tom
