You are older than dirt I started smoking when I was in Vietnam we got the little packs of four cig's with our meals. The first thing you do is toss away the food and smoke the cig's. I quit about 6 years ago and they cost too much to start back :-)

      I remember 15.6 cents a gallon for regular leaded about that time frame.  I could fill up my car (austin heally sprite) for $2.00; maybe $2.50 in-between price wars.
