Scores for landings

After all the sky falling conversation I would like to ponder landings. Does it seem OK to everyone that a flier might do a Cuban eight after exiting the box and then a perfect landing and receives a 0? Another flier does a 180-degree turn upon exiting the box and upon landing does a half dozen bounces and gets a 10? Shouldn't the score be for exiting the box?
