Well, I guess that's why they make Fords and Chevrolets.  I prefer the 
Teflon tubing.  I used one piece of 1/2" ID PTFE tubing on the YS 
1.40L-powered Advantage that I flew for 2 1/2 years.  I never used any 
clamps on either end.
