Li-ion footnote.

 I recently posted a note about killing a cell in a Li-ion pack when you charge it.

A couple of data points.

1. These were packs that were two and three years old.

2. I could only get one to fail when the pack was heated up over 140 F externally. i.e. the sun.

Never had one fail in any other way.
