Don't know about any of the rest of you but I have at times supported contest without ever flying a flight, in fact I'm going to make a practice of sending in entry fees to contest that I consider local (within 5 to 6 hours) that I can't attend, just to support the club and to let them know that we do appreciate the use of the field for the weekend might help keep some contest alive and encourage more clubs, don't know if any other sig does this, cost is minimal 20 to 30 dollars , could help put pattern as a priority instead of other events.
