Budd OS 1.60 Mount

Bill:
I think the integral nose ring is a "handy" thing for the removable cowl planes, but I'm not convinced that they work as well as the hard mounted ring on a solid nose.... Bob Pastorello shows a way to put a nose ring on that transfers to the firewall - a better setup, to me, than a part of the mount.
I should know more in a couple days - nothing beats flying to check stuff out!

Agreed. Mine for my Y.S. series engines looks great. He's working on an integral nose ring right now. I can hardly wait...........Bill Glaze

I received mine yesterday and it's really great. For me it was a retrofit of an OS 1.60...... so handy that all motors with this mount setup are at the same place for the spinner backplate. And, how 'bout that great price??

I've received mine, and will probably install this weekend, since I'm house-bound yet again. I'll do updates and pics on my site when running. It looks like a truly first-rate mount, and probably the lightest and most rigid beam setup I think I've seen.

Looks like a "necessity" in the building shop.
