I am sorry about your old trusty Typhoon.  Yes, I had judge you and Typhoon  for few years.  The combination was really nice.  I am sure that you will do well with any other plane.

 I have been using the 3-blade props for more than a year now (almost two seasons).  This is a safety issue and we should try to understand what happened.  Please, look very closely the breaking surface to see if there was a void or something not normal in the blade you found close to the engine.  Probably, the details can not be seen in a picture and you would need a magnified glass.  Also, we need to make sure that the spinner was not rubbing against the hub.  Sometimes, when using the starter the spinner could turn and touch the blade.  That is not good since in fly could start to cut very fast and initiate a crack that lead to failure.  One easy way to verify is to check if the breaking point was a the same level of the spinner.
