All:
I am e-mailing from home, as my power and internet access from Radio South is still down.
We have had quite a bad time of it! The Pensacola area took a direct hit, as you have probably seen from the TV news. The store made it ok, but we had a couple of leaks in the roof. That is repaired now, and we hope to have power on Monday (currently using two generators provided by Ken Blackwell and Don Peck, THANKS!!!!!!!!)
Thanks so much for everyone's willingness to help get these to me. As I have stated many times before, our modeling friends are a special kind of people.....Just like part of your family! It is great to have friends who are really concerned and willing to help. Cameron Smith was willing to drive from Atlanta to West Virginia to pick up a generator and bring it to me in Florida! It is people like this that make it all worth while!
My home made it through OK, just a privacy fence down. My mom and two brothers also came through just fine.
I spoke with Ron Van Putte the other day, and he made it OK as well, but with some damage on his boat dock (he lives on the water).
Due to the storm, we had to cancel the D3 championships, and they have been rescheduled and moved to Georgia next month.
Also, my Radio South web server is down and I am moving it to a new site today, so it should be back up soon.
Thanks for concerns!
