Call Central they will sell you a TX only.
As for the 9303 having the same gimbals as the 10X. I'm under the impression they are the same as the 10X but not positive on it as I have not touched and played with one yet.
My plan is to order one but currently the demand is very high for the new system. I have been waiting for it to "cool" down before I place an order. My LHS had about 3-4 systems and they all went the same day.
As for modules...all the JR TX's that have a separate TX module and are current systems have the same module. In fact I think this can be said for JR systems dating back to the 91 change over in frequencies to narrow band stuff. I know that all the PCM 10 (10, 10S, 10Sx, 10SXII, 10X) systems all use the same module as is current on the 10X-8103 and 9303 systems.

Does anyone know if the new JR 9 channel has the same stick/gimbals as the 10x?

Michael have you considered the new JR 9 channel? It's really loaded and has all the features at a steal of a price. Mike

Is there any place that sells just the 10x without the module? I have an 8103 so I already have the pcm module, receivers and servos. Used ones are pretty rare and the ones I have seen on RCU are pretty dang close to the cost of a fully loaded one. There do seem to be allot of used Futaba 9z for sale so I might consider going to the dark side.
