And just as good of a save on Paul V's part too. Both where able to safely land on or near the runway. Gray with about 9 inches of the out board wing AND aileron missing.
Paul's was with out one aileron control and the wing was fractured in a way on the top that ANY neg. force would have collapsed the wing. Good job in flight control on both parts.
Gray, as you should know on government regulations, air traffic control must take breaks every 15 min. to minimize fatigue. Unfortunately for you it was on your flight.

ROFL!
Gray, you exaggerate, there was only one object in your air, it's not the clubs fault that you decided to hit it!
Great save by the way landing with 1/4 or more of you wing missing!

Thanks to all those that attended the North Dallas Pattern contest this past weekend and a huge thanks to Dave Cotton the CD, his wife who was there the entire weekend helping out, Gene Maurice using his new scoring program, and all the other North Dallas club members that got the field looking absolutely pristine and showed up to help keep things running so smoothly.
Six rounds, beautiful weather and lots of flying, fun and fellowship!
