9154 Gear Conversion

I must be missing something . why would you by a $90 servo and pay $16
for a gear set?  You can buy the 9154 for $75 at Tower.  What is the
reasoning?  This isn't sarcasm, it's just an honest question.

Better snaps--but using more expo for flying.  The gear sets are a
drop-in and I'm not tempted to go back.

Back in July you mentioned swapping 9154 gears into 9150 servos to gain
more speed.
How did this work out?    Were you satisfied with the results?
