Old monocote question

Paul,

It may all be imagined on my part, but my experience to your question has been; YES and then NO to the second part.

I would love to hear a technical explanation by someone more knowledgeable on the subject...either that or years of smelling glues, paints and monokote and nitro has finally taken its toll!

    Does the glue on old monocote (still on the original roll with plastic backing) lose
it's effectiveness with age ?  If so can I do anything to restore it ?
