I read that, too.  At first I thought it would be a Police Story!<G>  
Had a couple of guys on our airline that were good buddies with Gann; 
also, Mira Slovak (if you know who he is) was a great buddy.  He and 
Gann shared a Czech background.  Gann was with AA before the War.  (Of 
course I meant The big One:  WWII.)
