YS 140L Help

Hi All:


I have a YS 140L with a Hatori header and pipe, 15x12w APC prop, Cool Power YS 
20%.  The engine will tick  (bang?) over at 2k rpm all day and transition to 8300 rpm 
without any problems, but about a third of the time, when I reduce the throttle the 
engine will die at mid-range or sometimes at idle very abruptly.  I guess I don't 
understand why it transitions from low to high but not the other way around 
consistently.  Any ideas?
