To anyone interested:

I ordered a set of plans for a Boxer .60 about a month ago from Rick. I
received them in a short time and they are very high quality and well worth
the cost. Not just plans, but a very detailed instruction booklet with a
Bill of Materials and a full set of templates as well. Everything you need
to build one of these great designs - which is what I intend to do this
Winter.
Precision Aero Composites http://www.precisionaerocomposite.com/ has core
sets for the wings and stab. too.

Gentlemen: Some of you may already b aware of the following, but I know
that some were asking about the future of the "Boxer" series a while ago.It
looks like Rick Allison has picked up the ball. A contact # is listed below!

  Terry,...

As you recall when Gus Ozols, owner/operator of Salient Designs, passed
away two (?) years ago the source for Boxer plans disappeared as well.

Since then I've been in contact with Rick Allison, turns out Rick and Gus
were good buddies, as Rick helped Gus develop the Boxer series of aircraft.
Rick has successfully purchased the rights to Salient Designs and has since
started up his own company called Salient R/C.

I just received an Email from Rick stating that his new company is up and
ready for business. Here are the particulars.

  Steve,

Salient R/C is now officially ready to open the doors, and since you
volunteered to help get the word out, well, get busy!

Plan sets for all the Boxer sizes are $42.00, plus $8.00 S&H. Muffet sets
are $35.00, plus the same S&H. Most plan sets run to 7-8 sheets, include a
30+ page construction manual, and are PLOTTED (not printed or copied) on 20
lb. bond. All sets are shipped rolled in a mailing tube, and delivery is via
UPS ground. Those interested can call 425 427 8647, or e-mail me at
salientrc at comcast.net.

  Thanks!

  Rick Allison

  Sincerely,
  Steve Teerlinck
  Monson, Massachusetts

P.S. Feel free to contact me as well if you need or want more
information.
