Jerry does your Hacker setup make a funny sound everytime you snap? I noticed this on Jasons setup at the Nats, sounded like something slipping on a shaft. It wasnt the whistle some CA planes make but a vibration of some sort. Other than the battery issues have you experienced reliability problems with the motor and speed controller?
 
 
Has anyone tried the 18" props on the 1.60s yet? Some of the wood props have nice looking tips. Just curious, my gear are too short for that right now. Next plane will be higher. One nice thing about the coming of the electrics, the guys who choose gas will have ample prop clearance in future designs.
