Fuel proof varnishesPolycrylic is water based. You want the Polyurethane. I've found it works very well.

  Subject: Fuel proof varnishes

I hope someone can help me with this issue. In the past I used some water based clear polyurethane varnish that was fuel proof. The trouble is I can't remember the brand. I tried Minwax Polycrylic and it did not work. Any one know what brands are fuel proof? Using this for some flight box equipment and I need to make sure it will hold up!

  Thanks!
