You got access to anyhting like this where you work?? That would be heaven.

All this reminds me of the countertops in the scince labs, If a guy could
get one of those when  a school was being torn down  On Man !!

I'll have to do with a plywood topped 2x4 table in my shop.

    I have gotten at least a dozen peices over the years at various Billiard
stores.  Pretty much any store that specializes in pool tables will have
chipped and broken slate sitting in their warehouse.
