Anti Virus

Hi Jim,

Since '88 through '00, a bunch of times while running OS6/7/8/9.2,
although a whole lot less at the end than at the beginning (and never
as often as the comparable Windoz releases of the day).

Since I installed OS-X in 2000 about a dozen times (I'm talking
unplanned/unintended re-boots here, not the ones where you install a
new piece of S/W and have to do a restart as part of the installation
process). Applications can and do crash, but the operating system
runs on "protected memory" which pretty well isolates the system from
the application. OS-X (which is UNIX based) is incredibly stable.

BTW - my machine is on 24/7/365 so there is plenty of exposure time
for something to happen.

Thx, Jerry
