I had the same kind of vibration and it was the pot.
New pot and vibration was gone.

I did try a new servo and on ground and that did not vibrate. Finally found the problem in the pot.
So, why not try what Karl suggested. You don't need to go to the field to test vibration.

  Dave,

Two things I would try: Switch the two servos. I know it is a bit of a pane
but you don't need to set up the throws to fly. You can always switch them
back and not lose your settings. If the problem moves with the servo you,
  found the problem.
If this does not cure the problem try rotating the prop 180º when mounting it
on the engine. See if you notice any difference.

Mike: I agree with your comments, having built two of them. The first being a tad heavy at 12 pounds! That was 4 years ago.
The current one is 10 pounds, six ounces which includes 2 oz.of tail weight. Some of which may be removed as I have only 26 flights on it.
OS 140Rx,17x12 APC with Greve pipe,O.S.(Hatori?) header, and each wing is shortened 1" by clipping the tip. Flies very well, even snaps pretty good.
There always seems to be a "but"..... The left aileron at about 3 or 4 clicks of throttle vibrates worse than anything I have seen in this regard, yet the right aileron is quite smooth. At other RPMs all seems good. I have had to replace the out put gear in a new Futaba 9150,as the wheel would rock back and forth. Have not flown since.
Mount is a Hyde, the one with aluminum beams and built in nose ring.

Any suggestions as to how to eliminate the vibration in the left aileron,as I am not sure I can fly it as is.Will at least have to try to avoid that particular position on throttle stick.

    Thanks,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Dave #943
