2 Cycle Setup on a Pipe

I know this is a bit off the original subject, but, I read that the right
prop for an OS160 is the apc 17x12.  I am running a 17x10N on 15%, with
hatori header, greve pipe (no length change), and kline regulator.  I am
getting 8400 peak on the ground.  I set it to 8250 before takeoff (insurance
I guess) and it pulls great.  My midrange is acceptable (never cuts out but
not real linear).  I'm not sure what I should be getting, but with a 17x12 I
feel like it will be too loaded.  Any comments/help would be appreciated.
